The next gatherings are:-
There is no August gathering because of holidays etc.
September 8th - will be Morans at 6:30 deposit of £5 per person is required as soon as possible please and we will need to pre-order about a week before but I’ll sort that out when it comes through to me.
October 13 - will see us at the Goldenhorn in Barnstable, no deposit this time, but I will need to confirm numbers about a week before.
November 10 at 6:30 will see us at Lush restaurant in Barnstaple. It was very successful last time, no pre-orders no deposits this time.
December 8th - will be on the eighth at 6:30 at the Wayfarer in Instow. We will need to pre-order this but no deposits are necessary - I will need to confirm numbers about a week before

Was a lovely evening food good and the staff always on hand and helpful.
Only gripe was the difficulty in parking but the food made up for it!!
The Barnstaple u3a 'Dining Club', Christmas Meal at the Imperial Hotel. Fine dining with all the trimmings!
The October Dinner at the Black Horse in Braunton was great fun. The way the food was presented was attractive, and was wonderful to eat. The service excellent.
Lots of chatting and laughter round the table and I think everyone enjoyed it, I didn't get one complaint which more than made up for the lack of parking which was 'challenging'.
Next time we're at Lush which is in Boutport Street just after Butchers Row. Mary will confirm arrangements when she gets back from the Sun!
Fourteen members of the Evening Dining Club met for the second time at Clayton’s &The Glasshouse on Tuesday 8th April. The noise and laughter coming from our table was a good indication that everyone was enjoying themselves.
The food was generally agreed to be good, however, due to staff shortages service was a little slow. The next meal out will be at Tiffins (Indian cuisine) on Tuesday May 13th closely followed on June 10th by a visit to Lush.
