Xen and Ashley are again hosting our monthly Bonsai activities in their lovely restaurant – 'The Vine' .
The next meeting will be 2:00pm on Wednesday, 6 May
We will be looking at 'Yamadori' this month. Translated this means digging something up (with permission) and styling it into a Bonsai. The cheapest, quickest and often the most satisfying way of approaching Bonsai
Please bring in anything we can all discuss, learn and have some fun.

The Competition Winner
The winner of our 8 month competition is Russ Allen with his rather lovely Juniper cascade, on the right. The original tree was bought in BJ's for £4.00 and in a rather nice pot is worth four or many times that amount!
The Hazel on the left is the prize. An interesting tree of about 15 years. There are plenty of options to make this into an exceptional example of Bonsai.
Very well done Russ.
